Celebrity author and pastor John Pavlovitz to visit Southwest Florida

Pavlovitz to spread message of inclusivity and support for candidates

Fort Myers, FL – Celebrity author and Christian pastor John Pavlovitz will be in Southwest Florida June 28-29. He will participate in a series of events to support local candidates.

The visit stems from a pledge from Pavlovitz in February to do events in Texas and Florida after the passage of restrictive legislation on LGBTQ+ issues. Local candidates and activists, including Dr. Cindy Banyai (Candidate for US House of Representatives Florida 19) and Tia Collin (Lee County School Board At-Large Candidate), connected with Pavlovitz and organized his visit.

“I’m happy that we can bring John here with his message of love and inclusivity. It is something that people in our Christian community desperately need to hear.” States Dr. Cindy Banyai.

Dr. Banyai continues “Having someone like John Pavlovitz come to Southwest Florida also shows how important our work is here. All eyes are on Florida. People will be watching to see if we will stand up for freedom and the rights of people or if we will let autocracy overcome us.”

All events for John Pavlovitz are open to the public with registration required. Here is a listing of the currently planned events. Follow Dr. Cindy Banyai for Congress on Facebook for event updates.
